I am Festy, a Hungarian blogger girl.

I was born in Dunaújváros, then I moved to Budapest because of my university studies. I majored in cartography and graduated from ELTE, I love Geography and travelling. I am a PhD student currently, I make school atlases for partially sighted students and I do research on the same topic.
I used to do sports professionally. Handball and running are my greatest passions.
As I am even more interested in fashion, photography and shopping, I started to write my blog in 2009. I write the blog not only in Hungarian but in English too so that it can also be followed abroad. The first two years were about persistence, creativity and hard-working posting…
Then I started to get a lot of positive feedback and have many successful experiences.

2009

• The birth of Festy in Style blog

2010

• Invitations to the biggest fashion events in Hungary as a fashion blogger.
• I became the Hungarian blogger of Tally Weijl, I write posts about their clothes which are shared on their website, too.

2011

• Fashion Guide was launched and I became a member.
• My cooperation started with Marks and Spencer: I regularly post about them and give ideas for outfits.
• I collaborated with GAS, I compiled outfits and introduced them on my blog.
• I was selected among the 100 most stylishly dressed people at the street fashion show (FOLLOW ME!) of Street Fashion Budapest so I could walk on the runway.
• I worked together with Samsonite to improve their online marketing.
• I took part in a blogger meeting in the editorial office of Glamour.
• I gave a presentation about my typhlo-cartographic research at the Cartographic World Conference in Paris.

2012

• Campaign (Look for the badge!) together with PandArte blog, design shops in Budapest and cafés.
• Cooperation with Marks and Spencer again. Life-sized Festy pictures were put on the shop windows in Arena Mall and Allee shopping centre. The fist time an international brand used a Hungarian blogger as its campaign face.
• Published in Glamour magazine. The article was about the joint campaign of Marks and Spencer and Festy in Style.
• Regular guest of Viva television’s Interactive live show as a fashion specialist
• Published in Cosmopolitan’s online version. Interview about the blog.
• Cooperation with Cosmopolitan. My own weekly section: Trendtuning with Festy in the online magazine.
• Collaboration with MOM Park shopping centre. Facebook campaign and fashion guidance together.
• Appearance as a blogger in Tv2’s morning live show, Mokka.
• I have an own blog in Cosmopolitan: Cosmo Fashion blog.
• Printed and online press releases: Kiskegyed magazine, Hölgyvilág, Trendmagazin.hu, Népszabadság. 
• I was invited to New York Fashion Week from 8 designer.
• Interview in RTL Klub news.

2013

• I was invited to London Fashion Week from 10 designer.
• I was invited to Paris Fashion Week at an exclusive cocktail party (VSP (Very Special Pieces from Vespucci)).
• I study and work as blogger in London.
• Cooperation with Springfield. I was on the international website of Springfield.
• I was invited to London Design Week.
• I was invited to London Men Fashion Week from 8 designer.

Magamról

Festy vagyok egy magyar blogger lány.

Dunaújvárosban születtem, majd Budapestre költöztem az egyetemi tanulmányaim miatt. Az ELTE-t végeztem térképész szakon, imádom a földrajzot és az utazást. Jelenleg PhD hallgató vagyok, látássérült diákoknak készítek iskolai atlaszt, és ezt a témát kutatom.

Sokáig versenyszerűen sportoltam. A kézilabda és a futás a szenvedélyem.

Ennél jobban már csak a divat, a fotózás és a shoppingolás érdekel, ezért elkezdtem blogot írni 2009-ben. A blogot a magyar mellett angolul is írom, hogy az külföldön is követni lehessen. Az első két év a kitartásról, kreativitásról és szorgalmas posztolásokról szólt… Utána kezdtek el jönni a sikerélmények és a pozitív visszajelzések.

2009 

• A Festy in Style blog megszületése.

2010

• Magyarország legnagyobb divateseményeire már meghívót kaptam, mint divatblogger.
• Tally Weijl magyarországi bloggere lettem, posztokat készítettem a ruháikból, melyeket ők is megosztották az oldalaikon.

2011

• Elindult a Fashion Guide, amelynek a tagja lettem.
• Megkezdődött az együttműködésem a Marks and Spencer-rel: rendszeresen írok róluk, és outfit ötleteket adok.
• Együttműködtem a GAS-szal, outfiteket állítottam össze magamon és bemutattam a blogon.
• A Street Fashion Budapest utcai divatbemutatójára (FOLLOW ME!) beválasztottak, a 100 legstílusosabban öltözöttek közé. Így végig vonulhattam a kifutón.
• Együttműködtem a Samsonite-tal az online-marketing fejlesztésben.
• Részt vettem egy blogger találkozón a Glamour szerkesztőségében.
• Párizsban a Térképészeti Világkonferencián bemutattam a tiflocartographiai kutatásaimat.

2012

• Közös kampány (Keresd, a kitűzőz!) a PandArte bloggal, budapesti design boltokkal és kávézókkal.
• Újabb együttműködés a Marks and Spencer-rel. Életnagyságú Festy képek kerültek az Arena Plázá-ban és az Allee-ban lévő üzleteik kirakatára. Először használt magyar bloggert reklámarcának egy nemzetközi divatmárka.
• Megjelenés a Glamour magazinban. A Marks and Spencer és a Festy in style közös kampányáról készült egy írás.
• Rendszeres szereplés divatszakértőként a VIVA tv Interaktív élő műsorában.
• Megjelenés a Cosmopolitan online kiadásában. Interjú a blogról.
• Együttműködés a Cosmopolitan-nal. Saját heti rovat az online felületen Trendtuning Festy-vel címmel.
• Együttműködés a MOM Park Bevásárlóközponttal. Közös Facebook kampány, és divattanácsadás.
• Megjelenés bloggerként a Tv2 reggeli élő műsorában, a Mokkában.
• A Cosmo Fashion blog írása napi frissüléssel. 
• Nyomatott és online megjelenések: Kiskegyed magazin, Hölgyvilág, Trendmagazin.hu, Népszabadság.
• A New York Fashion Weekre meghívást kaptam 8 designertől.
• RTL Klub Híradójában bejátszás és interjú a New York Fashion Weeken töltött élményeimről.

2013

• A London Fashion Weekre meghívást kaptam 10 designertől.
• Meghívót kaptam a Paris Fashion Weeken egy exklúzív fashion partyra a VSP barndtől. (Very Special Pieces from Vespucci).
• Londonban tanulok és dolgozok bloggerként.
• Együttműködés a Sprigfield-del. A nemzetközi honlapjukon és a facebookjukon szerepeltem, mint bloggerük.
• A London Design Week-re meghívást kaptam.
• A London Men Fashion Weekre meghívást kaptam 8 designertől
